How do I adjust the occupancy sensor’s sensitivity?

Use the set screw marked “Light Level” under the lens on the occupancy sensor to adjust the sensitivity of the occupancy sensor. When the ambient light level drops below the set level while the space is occupied, the light will turn on.

Decrease the fixture’s sensitivity by turning the screw counterclockwise.

Increase the fixture’s sensitivity by turning the screw clockwise.

Note: the Garage Light occupancy sensor is set to maximum sensitivity by default. At this setting, the fixture will turn on when you enter the room, even if the room’s ambient light level is high. For most applications, we recommend leaving the Light Level at its default setting.
